Open Question: My TV Has Little White Dots.?
I have a 40 inch Hitachi LCD tv that is less than 2 years old. Its been getting these little white dots all over the screen. They appear and dissappear really fast constantly and randomly. They appear in all 3 hdmi inputs. The weird thing is, they don't appear for everything. Like, I use my PS3 to play a game, crystal clear picture. I try to watch a blu-ray on my PS3, I get a bunch of those dots. If I'm not using anything but the tv itself, all clear as well. A few games I played had dots too, just alot less of them. Also, I played some videos saved to my PS3 and it was still clear picture. I have yet to test my 360 and Wii or DVDs. I would like to know what these dots are, why they are showing up, and how to fix them. I hope its nothing serious, really can't afford to fix the tv as I'm sure it'd be expensive. Well, here is a link to the cable I bought and am currently using. I don't know much about HDMI cables, I thought they were all the same.
